Publisher Description
Walt Disney World fans rejoice! A complete guide to help you find and meet the characters in Walt-Disney World is now in your pocket with some really nifty features.
First off this app is a complete off-line database of over 250 characters that are available to meet in WDW. The database is organized by:
The Magic Kingdom
Disney-Hollywood Studios
EPCOT
Animal Kingdom
Character meals (by meal!)
Star Wars Characters
& Holiday Characters
The database includes: frequency, location, tips, & more. The list alphabetical and off-line, making it perfect for your kid's iPod Touch or those times in Walt Disney World you don't have data access.
This info alone would be a great app, but there is a magical feature integrated we call: 'Character Spotter'.
Character Spotter allows you to post a character sighting to a live feed that anyone using this app or visiting wdwcharacterguide.com can view!
Any Disney World fan knows that the characters & their locations are always in flux and we hope this innovative new tool will help us to keep the most accurate database and allow you the most up to date data when you are in the parks!
You can also post character sightings, pictures, tips to the feed from your computer... either on your trip or when you get home. Just go to www.wdwcharacterguide.com and share your tips! Just click SUBMIT in the right hand column. We welcome your sightings, information, and pictures.
So WDW Character guide is all-in-all pretty nifty:
It's a helpful database of over 250 characters.
It's a tool for spotting and sharing character finds with your fellow character seekers.
It's a 'Twitter-like' LIVE FEED of characters people spot in the parks.
It's a useful web site for sharing & researching
character trends in the parks.
We have more cool stuff in store for this app, website, & more so stay tuned!
